Cliff Cottage is a cosy 19th century fisherman's cottage above the bustling traditional fishing harbour of Mevagissey. With stunning sea views, spectacular coastline and unique experiences on your doorstep, a holiday here will leave you relaxed, refreshed, with plenty to tell your friends!

Perfect for sitting back, putting your feet up and watching the boats coming in and out of the harbour or the waves crashing on the harbour walls during stormier weather.

• South facing, so gets the sun (when it shines!) all day
• Peaceful location, set up on the cliff
• Short walk to pubs, restaurants, shops full of locally sourced food and drink… locally caught fish a specialty!
• Fantastic for walkers – right on the South West Coast Path in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Available all year round - great for catching the Du Maurier Festival of Arts and Literature in May, Feast Week in June, Fowey Royal Regatta in August, the Christmas Lights Procession in December or the spectacle of New Year, celebrated in traditional Cornish style with the almost the whole village in fancy dress!

An excellent base for exploring South Cornwall:

• Easy reach of Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project
• Southern-most tip of the UK (Lizard Point) a short drive away
• Charlestown, a Georgian harbour with lovely tall ships on the edge of nearby St Austell
• Boats available for hire to explore the coastline, or take the ferry from the lighthouse to the pretty yachting town of Fowey
• Many beaches in the area including Polstreath and Portmellon beaches within walking distance, and the popular sandy beach at Gorran Haven
• Fishing trips from the harbour if you fancy catching mackerel, sea bass…even shark!

The cottage is reached by a sloping path (approx 100m from the harbour), therefore it is not recommended for those with limited mobility.
