Avonhurst is a large detached holiday home overlooking the village of Mevagissey with sea views.  It is in a quiet sunny location and has a garden and parking on the property. The outside space includes a lawned area and a private patio area suitable for barbeques and eating out.

The property enjoys sun from all directions during the day and well into the evening, with far reaching views to the countryside around.

Sleeps 2-9, parking, garden, views, well behaved pets are welcome.

The property can be reached without having to negotiate the narrow streets of Mevagissey.

The harbour is approximately a 5 minute walk away, where fishing boats are moored in both inner and outer harbours.  There are many local restaurants and attractions of interest. 

Places of interest in Mevagissey include the Mevagissey Museum, World of Model Railways, Mevagissey Harbour Aquarium and the Old Pilchard Cellars. Nearby there is the 15th Century Church at Gorran, Polmassick Vineyard, Caerhays Castle, Dodman Point, also many sandy beaches. 

The coastal footpath is easily accessible either from the harbour or from a public footpath near the house which leads to Portmellon.  There are several inland footpaths which could provide circular walks, which could be extended by using the local bus network.

There are three bedrooms on the main floor - two double rooms and a twin room.  The main bedroom has a colour television.

Also, on the main floor there is a large bathroom with a cast iron bath, separate shower cubicle, sink and toilet.  There is a separate shower room with a sink and toilet.  Next to the bathrooms there is a cloakroom area.

The kitchen is next to the dining room which has a large farmhouse table.  The kitchen has tiled worktops, a dishwasher, large fridge, large ceramic hob cooker and microwave.

There is also a large basement area with a double bed and two single beds if required.

Upstairs there is a lounge with dormer window which looks out over the Mevagissey bay.  There is a colour television with a digi-box, DVD player and video player.

Outside, there is a stone shed, with washing machine and a freezer.  There is also an third toilet.
